Welcome to Pete Vincent's website

Pete Vincent has been running the West Country's premier boat repairs business for 14 years. For the last 7 years Pete, in conjunction with Ian Jubb, has been selling refurbished second hand dinghies and building up a strong working relationship with leading British holiday company Minorca Sailing Holidays.

Otherwise known as "Ugly," he is the current Chairman of the RS Class Association and has been at the forefront of dinghy sailing for many years and competing to a high level in many classes. Pete has used his comprehensive knowledge of the dinghy sailing scene to write a regular column of thought provoking articles for Dinghy Sailing Magazine and occasional articles for Yachts and Yachting.

Pete has been heavily involved in the leading class associations in many voluntary roles. He has been responsible for organising some of Britains largest National Championships. Fat Face asked Pete to organise the inaugral Fat Face Night Sail competiton held in July 2008. Pete is also a vastly experienced RYA Racing Coach in much demand. Pete is also well known as a public speaker, undertaking many talks and presentations including being asked by the RYA to give talks on the main stage at the last three Dinghy Shows at Alexandra Palace.
